New Incentives
Pad Ready Sites - On October 25, 2011 The Board of County Commissioners of Washington County, Maryland adopted the “Pad-Ready” Commercial Stimulus Program.
The program is designed to encourage developers/builders to bring undeveloped land to a shovel-ready state, but is also intended for sites with existing buildings in need of redevelopment. This program will be available for a 3-year period beginning October 25, 2011. Read more…
High Performance Buildings – On February 7, 2012 The Board of County Commissioners of Washington County, Maryland created the “High Performance Commercial Building” Tax Incentive Program. This program is intended to assist with continued economic growth in the County by providing incentives for developers/builders to construct High Performance Commercial Buildings. A High Performance Commercial Buildings rating correlates to the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED standards. Read more…
