Hagerstown, Md. (September 9, 2014) –The Washington County Department of Business Development, Agricultural Business Development office invites the community to satisfy your hunger pains for a good cause at the Farm to Fork— the Future Faces of Agriculture Dinner, Sunday, September 14, 2014 , 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. hosted by LJ’s and the Kat Lounge.
Held at The Barn at the View, 14113 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, Alex Tiches, LJ’s owner and Chef Lonnie Coble will prepare a fine-dining picnic experience menu featuring all local ingredients including beef, lamb, goat artisan cheeses, fruits and vegetables.
Future Farmers of America and 4-H Club members will be on hand to discuss the importance of local, sustainable food products and share information on farming and agriculture.
Tickets must be purchased in advance for $25 per person. Proceeds from the event will support FFA and 4-H efforts in Washington County.
