Hagerstown, Md. (May 5, 2015) – Small businesses like Blondy & Company, Bonnie’s at the Red Byrd, Douglas Motors, Nutter’s Ice Cream and Water Street Financial contribute to the economic vitality and quality of life in Washington County every day. As part of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s National Small Business Week we are saying thank you.
To multiply the thanks, we are encouraging residents to visit small businesses across the County during the first week of May. Organizations like these and countless others support athletic teams, host community fundraisers and donate hours of services and goods that positively impact our neighborhoods many times over.
Nominated by town mayors, the following organizations and others will be recognized by the Department of Business Development during the May 12, Washington County Board of County Commissioners meeting.
Know a business that would like to share its products and services with the Board of County Commissioners and the Economic Development Commission? Contact the Washington County Department of Business Development to discuss scheduling a Business Outreach Visit.
