Hagerstown, Md. (September 24, 2013) – Do you work in Washington County and want to hear the latest on economic development initiatives? Are you looking to launch, expand or relocate your business? If so, join the Hagerstown-Washington County Economic Development Commission for an Open House to kick off Economic Development Week on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at 100 W. Washington Street Room 103 in Hagerstown.
Following a proclamation issued by the Washington County Board of County Commissioners during Tuesday’s County Commissioner meeting, the general public is invited to meet EDC team members, tour the office and learn about the services and information resources provided by the EDC.
Business owners will learn more about ways the EDC can help new or existing businesses, including scheduling a business outreach visit with the Board of County Commissioners. Others interested in small business resources can connect with the Maryland Small Business and Technology Development Center small business development specialist to learn about resources within the County and beyond.
Open House attendees can also enter to win rounds of golf at Black Rock Golf Course and more. Light refreshments will be served.
