HAGERSTOWN, MD (October 18, 2011) – Bright Eyes Child Care opened a new 8,900 square foot facility on August 29, 2011 at 1145 Omega Court in Hagerstown creating ten new jobs.
The large child care facility was the first business to open in the Light Business Park off of Eastern Boulevard which is a 27 acre commercial property that has been sub-divided into 18 individual lots. The facility has 13 lots open for sale or lease.
Bright Eyes Child Care is a state of the art facility with a staff that is ready to help children learn and grow to their highest potential physically, socially and cognitively. Their beautiful new facility has 10 classrooms for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age. The center also boasts an amazing playground. The owners of the Bright Eyes Child Care are Pete and Diane Holzberger who have operated licensed child care program since 1991. This is the tenth center for the Holzbergers whose other facilities are in Montgomery and Frederick Counties. Bright Eyes Child Care is open Mondays through Fridays from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
“The new Bright Eyes Child Care facility represents a $963,000 investment in the community,” said Jill Estavillo, Economic Development Manager for the City of Hagerstown. “The business will create 10 new jobs this year and is expected to grow to more than 30 jobs in future years as the facility reaches full enrollment capacity.”
The City of Hagerstown is hosting a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for the facility on Tuesday, October 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Bright Eyes Day Care, 1145 Omega Drive in Hagerstown.
